Tatjana has a keen eye for natural aesthetics, subtle character nuances and alchemic street-fashion trends, due to her experiences in South Africa: a world in which reality often seems more creatively woven than fiction. After graduating from Film Production at the University of Cape Town, she then spent the first ten years of her career working in Cape Town’s internationally-competitive TV commercial industry.

Redefining herself as an independent short-film maker, Tatjana is a one woman-army: conceptualising, directing, shooting and editing her work. She employs a practically-involved approach and enjoys working in collaboration with fashion designers, musicians, artists and dancers; eliciting the very best from her star performers and capturing every delicate detail, rather than interfering in their natural flow. She enjoys making commercial fashion shorts, music videos and documentaries.
