Illustrator

Jerome remembers and depicts facial expressions obsessively and has been a lifelong fan of Jim Henson and The Muppets since he was a kid. After studying graphic design, Jerome has progressed into following artists such as Shintaro Ohata and Jason Raish.

Jerome’s artistic style incorporates elements of caricature, pastiche and classic portraiture, with a swirl of the surreal, and can be adapted for all commercial purposes. Born in Strasbourg, France, before moving to Barcelona, he is now based in downtown Madrid, operating out of a shared studio with a multi-talented group of artists, which he finds inspiring, as tranquility is the key to producing his best work. ‘I listen to music all the time and even more when I draw. I love classic French music such as Serge Gainsbourg or Françoise Hardy and peaceful music is important, cause as soon as I put pop or electro on I begin to dance and sing and forget to draw!’ After years of journeying Jerome has dedicated himself to being a full-time illustrator and is now on a mission to record every idea he crosses paths with, in its most precious details.
